Curse of Dragon Giant Scale by Aosou-kun Curse of Dragon Giant Scale by Aosou-kun
My model of ZX08's amazing Curse of Dragon.
As you can see, the full scale version is gigantic.
The base collapsed under its weight after about 2 pictures.
At 75cm long and 77cm wide it is my largest model to date, breaking the record long heald by Onix.

This was just normal printer paper, though if I had to do it again I'd go with something sturdier.
I used 110lb on Tsuyo (my life sized mannequin), and she has held up pretty well for all the moving and abuse she's been through. That said, she's starting to wilt from years of poor posture.
Anyway, if you used 110 on this it'd be about as hard as cardboard in the smallest areas, but that's a pain to shape into small details.
I recommend maybe 50lb (I think it's 33lb bond weight, 110 I know is 60lb bond). Ask around any Staples or Office Max, or whatever the equivalent is in your area.

This model looks amazing. I'm planning to make it on this scale too; what kind of internal support did you provide for the wings so it doesn't collapse under its own weight?

I rolled up a piece of paper like a news paper and folded it and cut it to fit inside the thin parts of the wings. Kinda like a support bar, but it made it nose heavy so beware.

It isn't THAT big!
